So what have I been upto over the past month and a half? Lots really.

Well there was the New Year ... which I spent with my friends in Charleston. Spent a very good evening playing a card game called Judgement that I rock at, and got new ideas about how to blow money on me own audio-visual room when I actually earn enough money to make my dreams into a reality. Man is it going to be one funky room. When it materializes I may never come out of it unless there is a power cut!

And then of course there was the following two weeks I was crippled and handicapped by this annoying flu that derailed my hunkification project. So I guess I just looked decent for my wedding and not the hunk I could have been. :(


Oh and I got to go to India again to get married and had a blast of a time. My MIL and FIL and parents threw an amazing wedding. Never really been a fan of big weddings, but this one was so much fun I hardly realized the time go by. Pictures of the wedding can be seen here on my web album. Went on an amazing honeymoon to Thailand. Did so much fun stuff there that we were both very sorry it ended. After the very public wedding the two of us had, we were very happy to have some alone time and we made full use of it!




Came back to some sobering news. The night we landed Swathy's cousin had a tragic accident in which he passed away. It was a terrible ordeal and I think fate was very unkind to have dealt Swathy's uncle and aunt who are amazing people such a huge blow.

Swathy was a rock throughout and took it amazingly well which really impressed me for dealing with something like this would have I thought been a very difficult thing to handle at her age. But she took it like a champ.

I really didn't want to come back to life all alone back in the States, but all good things come to an end and I came back to the US many times more in love with Swathy than I was before we got married.

Sat and edited all the pics and vids and relived every moment of my time with family and friends over the past week. Uploaded all the pictures and videos online and keep going back to view them over and over again. I suppose it helps a little with the homesickness.

Played my first match in the tennis leagues again and despite not playing too well won thanks to my opponents being very bad. Small mercies I suppose.

Here I am missing home and Swathy a lot again. Figured I had neglected my blog long enough and that I should write more to keep myself busy.
