Cricket ... cricket everywhere

Cricket Fan? Tired of seeing your team lose time and again? Feel you would do a better job smacking the opposition's bowlers around if you were blessed with the talent of the big names? Wish you could see Kenya lift the World Cup? Or is your love for the game more academic? Got a few moments to spare? You may want to spend it on these sites.

Cricket for all its popularity, has surprisingly few games available given the number of cricket fanatics in the computing world. It still amazes me that no gaming company has produced a decent version for those too lazy to actually pick up a bat, ball and round up a group of ppl to play the game. So this post is dedicated to all you keyboard and joystick warriors who prefer to battle with your fingertips.

Stickcricket - This game is addictive! Do not take this game lightly I kid you not! You start off playing this game for timepass and then suddenly the next thing you know you're hooked onto it.

You try and try again as you attempt to smash more 6s and 4s to beat bigger and bigger scores! I actually beat the damn thing so now I'm kind safe from it's clutches. Phew!

This game is not bad. It's a lot harder to play though! I have only won a few of the challenges that are on the site. However for some reason it is not as addictive as stickcricket. Still good for timepass! Play this game here.

You can play this in 1 player and 2 player mode. Haven't tried the 2 player mode yet.

Ok so now let's be honest here. If you were a schoolboy in India during the 1990s chances are that you have wasted a lot of your pocket money and your parents' hard earned money on buying trump cards. Be they WWF or the one with the stats of cars or planes, these things were awesome!!!! I used to play them at school, during classes, between classes, after classes... pretty much anytime I met up with another kid.

Go here to play this game!
